ECCO shifts to a more intimate chamber setting, with members of the ensemble joined by Vijay Iyer at the piano. Individual musicians step into the spotlight, including Emerald City Music artistic director Kristin Lee. The program also includes music by Errollyn Wallen, who in 2024 became the first Black woman appointed Master of the King’s Music by King Charles III. The evening culminates in a romantic string octet by Max Bruch, blending orchestral richness with chamber intimacy.
